April 2012:

Plumbing lines are in for two bathrooms and lots of sinks. Electric wiring started on April 4th and walls start going up on April 9th.

March 2012:

It was an unanimous vote! We got approved by the planning board. Now the construction begins! Our coming soon banner is up! Drive by to check it out.

February 2012:

We go before the planning board on February 9th. Let’s hope for the best!

Therefore, we WILL be in our current South Orange location for the Spring 2012 session! Please join us there, and tell all your friends that we are still in South Orange!

January 2012:

Our meeting with the planning board got postponed from January 11 to February 9th.

November 2011:

Well, the saga continues with more unforeseen circumstances. The latest news is that we got denied by the zoning board. We are a little sad about that, however, we continue to move forward with the process. We will be going for a variance and will present our case to the town planning board. I’m sure once they get to know us they will love us!

August 2011:

Many of you have heard that The Messy Artist will be moving.  We have found a wonderful new location, but due to those proverbial “unforseen circumstances” that we’ve all experienced at one time or another, it’s become necessary to stay at our South Orange location for the Fall 2011 session.
