Liability Waiver

By booking an art party or class, you agree to release and hold harmless The Messy Artist, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the event. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Photography and Videography Consent

We may take photos or videos during art parties, classes, and events for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded, and agree that these images may be used on our website, social media, or other promotional materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us before the event.

Age Restrictions

Our art parties and classes are designed for various age groups. Please refer to the event description or contact us directly to confirm the suitability for specific ages. Adult supervision may be required for children’s events. For certain art kits, age recommendations will be provided to ensure safety and appropriateness.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

The $100 deposit is non-refundable for any reason, including cancellations, no-shows, or unforeseen circumstances such as weather or natural disasters. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 14 days in advance. For full cancellations, the remaining balance of the event (minus the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded. Health and Safety Guidelines

All participants must adhere to our health and safety guidelines, which may include wearing protective gear, following safe usage instructions for art materials, and practicing good hygiene. If the event is held in person, please adhere to any current health regulations regarding COVID-19 or other public health measures.

Intellectual Property

All art projects, designs, and materials provided during our art parties and classes are the property of The Messy Artist and may not be reproduced, sold, or distributed without permission. Guests are free to take home the art they create but must respect our intellectual property rights regarding materials and instructions.

Delivery and Shipping of Art Kits

We offer delivery of art kits to your location. Shipping fees will apply, and we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Once your art kit has been shipped, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the package is received. Payment Terms

We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards and online payment systems. All credit cards will be subjected to a 3% credit card fee. Payment for art classes and kits must be made in full upon booking or as otherwise stated in the event description. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required for all art parties to secure your reservation. The remaining balance of your party will be due on day of your party.

Force Majeure

The Messy Artist will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, pandemics, labor strikes, or other events that prevent us from holding the scheduled art event or delivering kits.
